According to the content creator, he wanted to create an oversized handheld console because he thought the original console was "really easy to lose." Thankfully, his creation easily solved this problem, with the entire console being 650% larger than the original Switch.

All buttons and joysticks are fully functional and replicate all the commands of the traditional Nintendo Switch. And if you can't be bothered to extend your arm, this massive console can easily be paired with an external Nintendo Switch Pro controller.

So how exactly did Pick put it all together? Surprisingly, it's actually not as complicated as you might think. The device is essentially a wooden shell that houses the original Nintendo Switch console and a 4K TV.

The giant console also uses 3D printed buttons that connect to a set of original Joy-Con controllers via wires that manually mirror inputs from the large Joy-Cons. However, this seems to result in a fairly large level of input lag, as evidenced by the YouTuber's demo of a giant Mario Kart 8 race.
