Samsung's Galaxy Buds Pro stands among the best wireless earbuds you can buy, but we didn't realize it was missing something: a charging case shaped like a snapback hat.

This critical oversight has been corrected thanks to the Galaxy Buds Pro Adidas Originals Special Pack. This collaboration with one of the world's biggest sports brands includes earbuds, a headwear-style charging case, and a coupon for an Adidas "Stan Smith" sneaker. However, the product will only be available in South Korea.

At KRW 279,000, the Galaxy Buds Pro adidas Originals Special Pack is about $50 more than the standard Galaxy Buds Pro price in the US. But the redesigned charging case is certainly a bit different, and appears to be made of recycled plastic to reduce Samsung's carbon footprint.

"We are planning this special pack for consumers who are looking for value consumption, especially the MZ generation who are interested in sustainable products and fashion," said a Samsung statement.

"We will continue to strengthen Galaxy's unique eco-friendly ecosystem through meaningful collaborations with various brands."

Sam Mobile also reports that the special edition Galaxy Buds Pro will apply Adidas' unique theme to Buds-paired Galaxy smartphones. So, for example, anyone with the latest Samsung Galaxy S21 can dress it up with adidas' special lock screen, message screen, and call screen designs and custom icons. The theme will also include an additional icon to access the adidas online store.

There are no plans to release this special edition in the US or UK, but Korean customers will be able to purchase it starting April 7. Perhaps if Samsung is considering other collaborations, future special editions could be available in Western countries as well.
