Xbox Games with Gold 2021/5 - Free to Play

Summer is right around the corner, and Xbox Live Gold members will have new games to play thanks to Games with Gold. Microsoft has announced May's Xbox Games with Gold, which Xbox Live Gold members can download and add to their collection for free. This month's selection is a bit light on the big titles we've seen in the past, but still has a few intriguing ones.

Users of the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 have four different games to choose from this month, but the well is a little dry at the moment, as Xbox Game Pass delivers most of the new games you might want to get your hands on so unless you're looking to add a free game to your collection, you may want to use Xbox Game Pass to try out additional games.

From May 1 through May 31, you can download Armello, a board game based on a fairy tale world that combines RPG, tabletop, and strategy elements to offer three different play styles. Players must become the next king or queen of Armello, combining the skills of heroes and using their swords to pave the way to victory. The game is available on the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

From May 16 to June 15, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One users can get Dungeons 3. This is a real-time strategy game in which players create their own dungeon, move creatures around on the map, cast spells, and discover loot and treasure.

That's it for the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One titles. However, the Xbox 360 game is still available in the form of LEGO Batman from May 1 through May 15. This is the first LEGO Batman, which is now a long-lived series, so this is a chance to see how it has grown from there.

Finally, Tropico 4 will be available from May 16 through May 31. This is a strategy sim, where players choose from a series of dictators (El Presidente) or create their own. From there, they can run their own island as they see fit.

Once these games have run their course, it will be time for new titles. For now, let's get all these titles before they are gone by mid-June.
