The new M1 processor takes Apple's iPad Pro tablet performance to a whole new level. Fortunately, the back-to-school sale is in full swing, making the purchase of Apple's new tablet a little cheaper.

If that's still out of your budget, Amazon is selling the new 11-inch iPad Pro (128GB/2021) for $749. That's $50 less than Apple's price and the best price we've seen for an Apple small tablet.

Our review of the iPad Pro 2021 found that the Editor's Choice tablet outperforms the competition: thanks to the Apple M1 chip, multitasking has never been so nimble, and you can open 13 Safari tabs, 1080p/60fps streaming YouTube videos, or viewing high-resolution HDR photos, I had no trouble at all.

In the Geekbench 5 benchmark test, the 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2021 scored 7,298. The M1-based 11-inch iPad Pro 2021, on the other hand, was 7,293. This is significantly higher than the iPad Air 2020 (A14 Bionic) at 4,262.

The 11-inch iPad Pro 2021 has a Liquid Retina display with over 4 million pixels, while the larger 12.9-inch iPad Pro has 5.6 million pixels and a new mini LED display. 12.9-inch iPad Pro 2021's new display is based on Apple's technical learnings from its desktop XDR display, with 10,000 mini-LEDs and what Apple claims are peak brightness levels of 1,000 to 1,600 nits XDR (Extreme Dynamic Range) content can be displayed.
