How to Find Ferrari 296GTB on Fortnite

Earlier this week, Epic Games announced that Fortnite will feature its first licensed car, the Ferrari 296 GTB. Once you find this car in the game, you can participate in time trials to level up and unlock battle stars.

The trouble is that the competition is quite fierce, as everyone else wants to get this car and complete the time trial. So where exactly is Fortnite's Ferrari 296 GTB?

Our sister site, PC Gamer, has listed two Fortnite locations where the Ferrari 296 GTB spawns fairly regularly: Believer Beach and Lazy Lake.

In Believer Beach, you will most likely run into the Ferrari in the parking lot outside the hotel on the east side of town. If you don't find one, you may find one at a gas station on the west side of town.

In Lazy Lake, on the other hand, both gas stations and car dealerships are common Ferrari sightings.

There are also sightings at a crossroads next to a gas station south of Weeping Woods.

So keep an eye out for these areas when you get off the battle bus. You will then have to complete three epic quests. The first two are very simple: to run at full speed, you just need to keep going for a few seconds without hitting anything, and to run through a storm, you just need to be in your car when the storm approaches. There is no particular burden.

The last time trial is a bit more difficult, so here are some tips.

The locations of the time trials are obvious on the map: Holly Hatchery, Weeping Woods, and Lazy Lake. Just pick a convenient location and clear it once.

Once there, look for a white light floating above the road. When you're ready to get started, walk through there.

Anyone who has played time trials in racing games will be familiar with what you need to do.

The challenge is to pass through the checkpoints and reach the end before the timer runs out (the circle above each checkpoint shrinks as the clock advances).

It is not necessary to use boost mode to complete this challenge and, in fact, should be actively avoided as it consumes gasoline too quickly to be practical. Furthermore, the Ferrari 296 GTB, like all other sports cars in the game, performs best on the pavement.
