How to watch Park Skateboarding at the Tokyo Olympics: Schedule, channels, etc.

The last chance to watch skateboarding at the Tokyo Olympics is approaching. After Jagger Eaton won a medal in the street competition this past Sunday, teammate Heimana Reynolds (Hawaii) is looking for gold in the park competition.

Yes, the final men's and women's event of the Skateboard Olympics is the "park" format, which showcases the style of skateboarding that originated in Venice Beach, California, on the big stage. This format has steeper edges on the bowls and ramps, allowing for higher speeds in less time and the potential for more amazing tricks.

Reynolds will be anxious to see how Japan's two-time Winter Olympic medalist Ayumu Hirano fares. Japan has already won two gold medals, including Yuto Horime's gold in the street competition on July 25.

There is a lot of prodigious talent on the women's side of the Olympic skateboarding competition, as Japan's Koko Hiraki is about to show the world what 12-year-olds are capable of, and the GB team has a super young talent in 13-year-old Sky Brown, who has already won two gold medals in the street competition on July 25.

Also keep an eye on Finland's Lizzie Almanto, the only female skater to complete Tony Hawk's 360 loop.

Among the services needed for these games, Peacock will help you watch highlights at night, and Sling TV and Fubo TV will help you catch the games on tape delay.

The Olympics are a global event and can be seen in almost every country on earth. However, if you are not in your home country and your usual service does not allow you to watch the Tokyo Olympics skateboarding competitions, or if you prefer to watch them in your native language, you are not out of luck.

A virtual private network, or VPN, allows you to access the same streaming services you're already paying for by pretending you're surfing the web from your hometown (or anywhere else not hit by power outages.) VPNs are completely legal, inexpensive, and easy to use.

Not sure which VPN is right for you? After testing a variety of services, the best VPN overall is ExpressVPN. It offers great speed and excellent customer service. However, there are other VPN options out there.

The VPN is incredibly easy to use.

1. Install the VPN of your choice. As we have mentioned, ExpressVPN is our favorite.

2. select the location you want to connect to with the VPN app. For example, if you are in the US and want to see UK services, select UK from the list.

3. Sit back and enjoy the action. Go to your favorite website or streaming service and tune in.

If you want to watch the Tokyo Olympics skateboarding live, you'll need to log on to NBCOlympics.com, so it's time to find your cable/streaming login. NBCSN and NBC may also broadcast the games at reasonable times (though they are often rebroadcast on tape delay).

Of course, Peacock's nightly coverage is also likely to include updates.

USA and NBCSN are part of the $35/month Sling TV Blue package, and Olympic watchers will want the Blue package, which also has NBC. Olympic channels are also available as an add-on for $11/month.

Sling is one of the best streaming services, along with the other services we recommend for Olympic viewing: Fubo TV has over 100 channels (more than Sling), including all the networks mentioned above.

To watch all the competitions live, we recommend subscribing to Discovery Plus, which provides coverage of all Tokyo 2020 events, and all Olympic skateboarding events will be broadcast on this service.

Discovery is currently offering a 3-day free trial of this service, after which a full subscription is available for £6.99 per month or £29.99 per year. Additionally, the service is streamable on a number of devices, including Chromecast, Apple TV, Android TV, and apps for iOS and Android.

BBC iPlayer used to be the go-to source for all Olympic coverage for people in the UK, but things have changed.

The BBC will not have a monopoly on Olympic coverage in the UK, as the IOC has sold its major European broadcast rights to the Discovery Network. As a result, the BBC's coverage, while still good, is limited to no more than two live broadcasts at a time.

Americans abroad can use any service they like by logging in via a VPN such as ExpressVPN.

Details are not necessarily strong here; Sportsnet, CBC, and TSN share Olympic coverage, so we have some, but not all, of the details you might need.

TSN1 and TSN2 (and TSN3 on Wednesdays) have Olympic coverage during this time slot, but they don't say what will be broadcast; Sportsnet has the Olympics, but skateboarding is not listed (volleyball, canoe sprint, track and field, baseball, diving).

Nevertheless, TLN broadcasts most of the games.

Again, Americans can use services such as Peacock, Sling, and Fubo by logging in via a VPN such as ExpressVPN.

Downunder, Aussies can watch the Olympic skateboarding competitions for free on the 7Plus network streaming service. Simply add 14 hours to the Eastern Standard Time below to get the start time of the games in Western Australia Eastern Standard Time.

You are currently out of the country. Please use ExpressVPN to access paid services.
