Given that the standard retail price of the console is $499, one would naturally assume that QVC is bundling some pretty enticing items along with the console to justify such a high price. That would be a big mistake.

This PS5 bundle includes a disc version of the console, copies of The Division 2 and Destiny 2, an unbranded backpack (probably large enough to hold the console), and a gift certificate of some sort. The value of these vouchers and where they can actually be redeemed are not listed on the product listing page.

It should also be noted that "The Division 2" and "Destiny 2" are PS4 games. The latter has a native next-gen version that can be downloaded for free, while "The Division 2" is a last-gen title; for $1,119, you would think you would at least get a couple of the best PS5 games like Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Returnal. This isn't the only bundle QVC is offering, but the others aren't much better. The cheapest PS5 bundle is $999 and comes with a digital version of the console (retail price $399), a pair of nondescript coupons, and an unbranded headset and charging dock. At the very least, most retailers are not resorting to such dubious measures and are selling the console at standard retail prices whenever possible.
