Invite—only Xbox Series X re-arrival is taking Place - What You Need to Know

Finding inventory of Microsoft's Xbox Series X consoles is next to impossible. So Microsoft has decided to take a cue from Sony. According to a reader, the company is sending out invitation-only Xbox Series X restocking emails.

The email contains a unique link to purchase the Xbox Series X directly from Microsoft. There is no guarantee that you will be able to get an Xbox unit after receiving this email - you still need to act quickly to purchase an Xbox - but it certainly makes it somewhat easier to get an Xbox Series X unit.

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do to get on Microsoft's invite list. (Other than registering a valid e-mail address with Microsoft). Unlike Sony, which is still accepting holiday restock registrations, Microsoft has remained silent about their invite-only restock. Our best advice is to always check your spam box if you receive anything from Microsoft. In fact, we have received word from readers who have found invitations from Microsoft in their spam box.

Alternatively, Walmart will be selling Xbox Series X consoles on Monday, November 22. The restocking will be part of the Walmart Black Friday Deals event for Walmart Plus members, which will begin at 3 p.m. ET. (Restocking will begin at 4:00 p.m. EST).

In the meantime, be sure to check out our Black Friday Xbox Series X Deals for deals on games and accessories.
