Amazon is currently restocking the PS5, but you must be a Prime member to purchase the console now. Once you sign in to your Prime account, follow the link below to the PS5 listing page and press "View All Purchase Options" and you should see the option to purchase from Amazon at the top.

Be careful - even if it shows as sold out, it's worth refreshing the page. The inventory may flicker on and off for a few minutes. Amazon has also updated its page to state that "Amazon Prime customers will have priority access to the PlayStation 5 until November 27, 2021."

While there is no sure-fire formula for success when it comes to securing a PS5 when Amazon restocks, there are a few things you can do to take advantage.

First, set up an Amazon account in advance and save your address and payment information. Putting the items in the basket is only half the battle; once they are in the basket, all you have to do is complete the checkout process. If you take the time to enter your card number and zip code, there is a good chance that the console will be sold out while you are typing it in.

There is a slightly different Amazon trick that has proven to make checkout at PS5 easier. When a console is restocked, if you put it on your wish list ahead of time, you can add it to your cart from there. This avoids the listing page, which is practically always crashing due to over-traffic.

Using this trick, you can usually fill your cart with inventory the moment it is restocked.

However, you can still add PS5 even if it is sold out, so make sure you have PS5 on your wish list ahead of time. To take advantage of this trick, do so well in advance of restocking. If you try to add a console to your wish list while inventory is running low, the website will usually display an error message.

We tested this method ourselves when we restocked the Xbox Series X and confirmed that it does indeed work. We were able to add the Series X to our basket four times, but the listing page kept crashing and not allowing us to add it to the basket even once.
