According to new rumors, three remastered versions of "Assassin's Creed" may be coming to the Nintendo Switch.

Good news for those who want to revisit Renaissance-era Italy for targeted kills and parkour, or have never experienced the story of Ezio Auditore: Twitter leaker Direct-Feed Games (via NintendoLife) claimed in a new tweet that the trilogy of games starring the Italian assassin, originally released for PS3 and Xbox 360, will soon be available on Switch.

Already available on the Nintendo Switch are Assassin's Creed III and Assassin's Creed: Black Flag, which includes Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin's Creed Rogue: Assassin's Creed. Rebel" collection, which includes "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag" and "Assassin's Creed Rogue". Japanese players will also be able to play the cloud-streamed version of "Assassin's Creed Odyssey". So it was only a matter of time before more games would appear on this platform.

From a tweet from Direct-Feed Games, it appears that the trilogy will be a new version of 2016's Assassin's Creed Ezio Collection, which was released for PS4 and Xbox One. The bundle consists of three games: "Assassin's Creed II," in which Ezio becomes an assassin and pursues his family's murderers across Italy; "Assassin's Creed Brotherhood," in which Ezio gradually liberates Rome with the help of his hooded minions; and "Assassin's Creed III," in which an aging Ezio travels to the Middle East to learn the secret history of the Assassin's Creed in "Assassin's Creed Liberation." Desmond Miles also makes an appearance in the present day, something that ultimately doesn't bother me but is important to the plot.

This collection updates the graphics, bundles all the DLC for these games, and even adds some short animations. However, this collection does not offer multiplayer mode play. [Between Nintendo's strong first-party library and the surprising number of indie and AAA games ported to the Nintendo Switch, there is a lot of competition for the best games on the Nintendo Switch. But if this trilogy does indeed get ported to the Switch, there will still be room to play the story of Ezio Auditore da Firenze.
