Having trouble accessing Google Calendar on your desktop this morning? You are not alone Users trying to access Google Calendar from their desktops have reported widespread problems
The Google Calendar mobile app seems to be working fine, but the desktop site is throwing an "Error 500" error for many This doesn't tell us much more than the fact that access to the service has completely failed
Google's own status page also provides no additional information However, everyone at Tom's Guide has experienced this problem firsthand, and Down Detector's report concurs
Google Calendar is not the only service that seems to be affected, and at least in the UK, Google Search and Gmail have reported problems Fortunately, this does not appear to be the case in the US, but this may be because the East Coast is still a sleepy country
The problem with accessing Google Calendar is not the end of the world, especially since some people may still have mobile apps running However, it might get in the way of a meeting I had scheduled this morning In that case, try to find an alternative, such as sending an access link via an email client other than Gmail or Slack
Hopefully this issue will be resolved soon, but we will update if we receive any new information In the meantime, please keep your fingers crossed and do your best not to miss any video call meetings
