GameStop PS5 Replenishment Sold Out - Where to find your Next Stock

Update: GameStop has sold out of PS5 consoles. Please check our PS5 Restocking Guide for information on the next PS5 GameStop restocking.

For those looking to secure a PS5 restock before the holiday season, GameStop has an early gift for you: GameStop will be restocking the PS5 in stores today, Thursday, December 23. This will no doubt be your last chance to get a PS5 for holiday gift giving.

The restocking news originally came from one of the most well-known and trusted inventory trackers, Matt Swider, who posted on The Shortcut that GameStop will be restocking the PS5 tomorrow, while also restocking the Xbox Series X in stores. GameStop has now confirmed these restocks.

GameStop has updated its store locator tool to see if your local retailer will be participating in these restocks. Note that not all GameStop stores will have the game in stock, so check in advance to avoid disappointment.

This restocking of the PS5 will begin at each store's opening time (as early as 8 a.m. local time), but eager shoppers are expected to start lining up for the console much earlier than this.

As has become a staple of GameStop's PS5 restocking, the console will only be sold in bundles; the bundle GameStop will be selling at this restock is $795 and includes the PS5 disc itself, an additional DualSense controller, and three of PS5's best games, GameStop always charges the combined retail price of the bundled items, so they will not be marked down.

Previous GameStop in-store restocks did not require a PowerUp Reward Pro membership. However, the last PS5 restock required membership. Therefore, it is possible that registration will be required for this PS5 restock as well. It would be worth registering now, just in case.

If you don't live near a GameStop or want to buy your console online in the New Year, bookmark the PS5 Restock Hub for updates in the coming weeks. While we can't guarantee the machine, it should make the task of finding a next-generation gaming console a little easier.
