Hitman 3 will arrive in 2021/1 on PS5

Agent 47 is back and "Hitman 3," coming to PS5, aims to combine next-generation graphics with stealth assassination of wealthy men with questionable backgrounds.

Little was revealed other than a short trailer. But Agent 47 seems to fly through a variety of exotic and interesting locations, sneaking around in luxurious-looking hotels and climbing towering skyscrapers. And this follower-starved assassin will be doing all of this starting in January 2021.

"Hitman 3" can be expected to be an evolution of previous "Hitman" titles in terms of taking out targets in discreet or not so discreet ways. However, we can only expect a wider range of progression systems, more ways to try and error your way through the game's missions, and perhaps an expanded multiplayer element.

It also looks like the game will benefit from the power of the PS5, and from the trailer, the game looks really pretty.

"As longtime 'Hitman' fans know, our games and locations have always been built with unparalleled player choice and replayability in mind. Hitman 3 is no different," explained Travis Barber, Senior Community Manager at IO Interactive, on the PlayStation Blog. Indeed, our next game encourages players to explore and interact with the game world in new ways." We want the game to be tactile, and we want players to feel that their actions affect their surroundings and their future playthroughs.

"Hitman 3" will be the final chapter in the "World of Assassination" trilogy, and those who play on PS4 will be able to carry over their progress from "Hitman 2" into "Hitman 3."

Speaking of PS4, "Hitman 3" will also be released on the same console, but PS5 will likely achieve The high level of fidelity that the PS5 is expected to achieve is not expected.

When the PS5 debuts later this year, a set of games for the PS5 will be ready or at least in the works: "Horizon 2: Forbidden West," "Spider-Man: Miles Morales," and "Gran Turismo 7" will all be available on the PS5 at Sony's June 11 The games were all featured at Sony's PS5 event on June 11. But stay tuned for more PS5 games as we head into 2020.
