The Google Pixel 5 could be cheaper than the Pixel 4, with leaked information indicating that it will cost 629 euros.

This price is equivalent to £599 in the UK, considerably cheaper than the £669 of the Pixel 4 launched last year. It is difficult to know the exact U.S. price because European countries apply VAT to the price, but it is possible that the Pixel 5 will be priced at $699 in the U.S. instead of $799 for the Pixel 4.

The leak comes from a tip sent by YouTuber Techcheck to German tech blog TechnikNewsNET. While it is difficult to be sure how legitimate the leak is, there is an accurate whiff of pricing. [This is because previous rumors have suggested that the Pixel 5 will be powered by the mid-range Snapdragon 756G chipset, rather than the flagship Snapdragon 8 series chipset that the Pixel 4 was powered by.
