Forget the Iphone SE: OnePlus Nord N10 5G Comes to the US for Underっ400

The OnePlus Nord N10 5G will be the next member of the OnePlus Nord family. However, the phone will reportedly be available in the U.S. and will feature attractive specs.

Android Central, citing an inside source, has revealed some key details about the new inexpensive OnePlus phone. According to that source, the new device, codenamed "Billie," will cost less than $400 and will be available later this year.

Although the Nord N10 is low-priced, OnePlus has included a 64MP main camera. It also has an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera and two 2MP auxiliary sensors on the back.

The iPhone SE and Google Pixel 4a both make do with a single rear-facing camera, so the OnePlus Nord N10 may win on versatility.

The processor in the Nord N10 is the Snapdragon 690, a step down from the chipset Snapdragon 765G in the original Nord. However, the 690 comes standard with 5G connectivity, unlike the iPhone SE and regular Pixel 4a.

Accompanying this chipset is a minimum of 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage; OnePlus usually tends to offer two RAM/storage options, 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB. 12GB RAM for the Nord N10 by OnePlus on the Nord N10 is unlikely, but expect them to offer a larger storage option for users who like to stuff their phones with photos, videos, and apps.

However, the quality of the display will not be compromised; the Nord N10 will reportedly feature a 6.49-inch FHD OLED panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz. This is slightly larger than the 6.44" screen of the original Nord, but has the same resolution and, more importantly, the same refresh rate.

Allegedly, OnePlus wants to keep all its phones above 90Hz in the future, giving it a clear advantage over other budget phones like the Google Pixel 4a and iPhone SE 2020, which stick to a basic 60Hz.

According to Android Central, the Nord N10 will debut after the OnePlus 8T, a refreshed version of the OnePlus 8 series. As in previous years, it will likely be released in October. Therefore, the Nord N10 5G is expected to launch in late October or even November.

Also, "later this year," an even less expensive Nord terminal, codenamed "Clover," will be available for about $200. The device is rumored to have a 6.52" HD+ LCD screen, three rear cameras, a huge 6,000 mAh battery, and a much less powerful chipset, possibly a Snapdragon 460, 4GB RAM, and 64GB storage.
