Apple has expanded its Apple Watch family with the addition of the Apple Watch 6 and Apple Watch SE. Both watches are available for purchase now, with several promotions available.

The Apple Watch 6 is the new flagship Apple Watch with a new blood oxygen sensor that can track blood oxygen levels. The watch is also compatible with Apple's new Sleep app, which is designed to help users achieve their sleep goals.

On the hardware side, there is a new dual-core S6 CPU, an always-on Retina Display that is twice as bright as the previous model, and the option to get the watch with the new Apple Solo Loop. Pre-orders for the Apple Watch 6 start at $399 at the Apple Store.

The Apple Watch SE, meanwhile, is Apple's new mid-range smartwatch that uses the same CPU as the Apple Watch 5 and, unlike the cheaper Apple Watch 3, supports international emergency calls, drop detection, and family settings (cellular model only). SE pre-orders start at $279 at the Apple Store.

Verizon appears to be the first retailer to offer deals on the new Apple Watch models. If you trade in your old Apple Watch at Verizon, you will receive a $100 discount on the purchase of a new Apple Watch. Also, if you purchase an iPhone with a Verizon device payment plan, you will receive an additional $100 discount on an Apple Watch purchased on an installment plan.

On T-Mobile, the Apple Watch 6 is available for $20.84 per month with 24-month payments; the Apple Watch SE is available for $13.75 for the 40mm model and $15 per month for the 44mm model. T-Mobile's current promotion offers a $200 discount on a second watch when you purchase an Apple Watch 3 or later and activate a new line with a T-Mobile Watch plan.
