Soundbars are one of the easiest ways to boost the audio performance of a TV setup without introducing tons of wires into the room or having to find a way to place a complete set of surround sound speakers. Modern televisions, while superior in terms of picture, often lack the space to make an impact on audio due to their slim design. For this reason, external speakers or soundbars can be very useful.

The Insignia 2.0, a two-channel soundbar, does not offer the most detailed or immersive audio. However, for the very affordable price of less than $50, it can upgrade the audio power of your TV.
