Infinix is going big with its Note 8: a large, camera-packed phone

We all need a smartphone, but with many flagship devices soaring to around $1,000, it's hard to get a new one, and Infinix is trying to show what it can offer for less with its Note 8 smartphone.

Infinix is growing as a global brand, and the Infinix Note 8 is one of the brand's latest and greatest smartphones, further expanding its offerings. The Infinix Note 8 features a huge display, a small cutout for a selfie camera, numerous rear camera, large battery capacity, biometric security, and speed performance, all of which are offered in a device that looks and functions like the flagship smartphone we expect. However, Infinix does not intend to charge the high prices that other smartphone makers charge.

Infinix has equipped the Note 8 with a MediaTek Helio G80 chipset, giving it the performance it needs to handle both work and play. You can manage email and texting, spend time on movies and games, and the Helio G80 is paired with 6GB of RAM to keep up. The 5,200mAh battery provides long battery life and supports 18 watts of fast charging, so you can charge quickly when you need it.

Of course, the ability to enjoy content and do just about anything on a cell phone also depends on the screen. Fortunately, the Infinix Note 8 has that covered. Since the selfie camera only occupies a small cutout, the phone offers a huge 6.95-inch display that takes up most of the front of the device. The display's aspect ratio is 20.5:9, which is ideal for watching movies because the letterboxing is not glaring. With a peak brightness of 480 nits, the display is easy to view in most environments. And let's not forget the dual DTS-compatible speakers.

When you're done consuming content and want to create your own, the Infinix Note 8 has you covered with six independent cameras. On the back is the 64MP main sensor, which pairs with the portrait sensor to enable special focus effects. There is also a macro camera for serious close-ups and an AI camera. The camera system also includes eye-tracking autofocus to help you take great photos with family and friends. The combination of a 16MP front-facing camera and a front-facing portrait sensor also makes for a powerful selfie game.

Photography is not the only way to benefit from the Infinix Note 8. The phone uses Vidhance video enhancement algorithms to improve the stability and clarity of the video it records. It also supports slow-motion video capture for those times when you want to capture quick action.

The overall Infinix Note 8 experience runs on Android 10 and Infinix's XOS7.1, which includes side-by-side app launching, quick note taking with Xnote 4.0, multiple account options for apps, and other software features will be offered.
