Xbox Series X: All 30 games optimized for release date are here

With the release of the Xbox Series X and Series S, gamers have less than a month to enjoy the next generation of Xbox hardware.

Much is already known about the consoles themselves, but a console is nothing without something to play with. So what games will be available on the Xbox Series X and S on November 10?

The Xbox Series X will not have any exclusives in the traditional sense; the PS5 will have games that will only be available on the PS5 at launch, but Microsoft chose a different approach. Instead, games released on the Xbox Series X will also be available on the Xbox One and One X. However, they do not include fancier items such as ray tracing or boosted graphics.

In other words, which games are optimized for the new consoles. In other words, playing them on the Xbox Series X (or S) is different than playing them on the Xbox One or One X.

Smart Delivery is a rather nifty feature designed to eliminate the need to buy games multiple times; it's like an evolution of Xbox's Play Anywhere, allowing you to play a particular game on two consoles, an Xbox One and a PC.

In other words, instead of paying an additional $60 for a Series X game already purchased on Xbox One, you will be able to play it on your new console as if it were the first system you purchased. There is nothing extra to purchase, you simply download or install the game and it is upgraded as is

, but in addition to upgraded graphics and reduced load times, Smart Delivery also transfers your save data so you can play from the previous

and smart delivery transfers saved data so you can play from where you left off

.

As with Smart Delivery, it does not really matter which console you have, but this time it is important to maintain an active subscription rather than purchasing individual titles. So here are all the games optimized for the Xbox Series X/S that will be available for download as part of the Game Pass service on day one.

All optimized titles offered on launch day will also include Smart Delivery.

What can be said about both Smart Delivery and Game Pass is that it is up to developers and publishers to participate in this service, and not all games can take advantage of Microsoft's initiative Not all games will be able to take advantage of Microsoft's initiative. So, here are some of the titles optimized for the Xbox Series X/S that you will need to purchase or repurchase if you already have an Xbox One version.

*Since these games are already free to play, they did not need to be part of the game pass or include smart delivery.

It is not possible to list all of these games here, as there are literally thousands of them. However, the rule is that if a game is playable on Xbox One, whether it was released on Xbox, Xbox 360, or Xbox One, it can be played on Series X and S through backward compatibility. It does not matter whether it is on disc, digital download, or available via Game Pass, it can be played immediately.

However, these games play exactly the same way on Xbox One, with no features optimized for the new console. Therefore, don't expect to be able to play Blinx: the Time Sweeper in 4K HDR.
