Are there any pre-orders for the Xbox Series X? You can now earn an Xbox refrigerator

Ever since Microsoft unveiled the Xbox Series X design, jokes have been flying about the size and boxy shape of the console. It is so big and boxy that it has been compared to a refrigerator.

Clearly, Microsoft has a sense of humor these days. So much so that the company actually made a refrigerator in the shape of an Xbox Series X.

There are already two Series X refrigerators, one sent to influencer iJustine and the other to Snoop Dogg. Apart from the design and the fact that it plays Xbox startup music when you open the door, it's a pretty standard refrigerator. But it's not a "normal" refrigerator that can stream "Doom Eternal". Which is unfortunate.

As the video shows, iJustine's refrigerator ships in a larger version of the Series X retail box, and its exterior is an upscale replica of the console itself--right down to the various cable sockets on the back. However, this custom-built exterior is a bit large and would not fit in my kitchen.

Snoop Dogg was a bit excited, but his fridge was already stocked with a variety of items, including an Xbox Series X and a replica cake.

This is not the first time Microsoft has taken advantage of such jokes: at an Inside Xbox event in May, host Aaron Greenberg claimed to be streaming from his kitchen, with an Xbox Series X-shaped refrigerator in the background. This was not the real thing, but it was a kitchen stacked with an Xbox Series X refrigerator in the background. While this was not the real thing, it is yet another example of the Xbox team being happy to poke fun at itself.

Apparently a third Xbox Series X refrigerator exists, and Microsoft is giving it away in a Twitter sweepstakes. As of this writing, nothing has been posted yet, but apparently you can find out more details from the official Xbox Twitter account. If you enter this Twitter sweepstakes, you could win a refrigerator shaped like the new Xbox.
