The iPhone 12 mini won't be available for another two weeks, but you can get a pretty good look at Apple's compact iPhone 12 model now.

George Buhnici is a Romanian YouTuber who managed to get his hands on the iPhone 12 mini long before its launch on November 13. Buhnici previously posted a 40-minute hands-on with the new phone, but it has since but is now missing from YouTube; 9to5Mac is hosting the video, which showcases the iPhone 12 mini from all angles.

Truth be told, unless you are fluent in Romanian, you won't get much out of this video. However, watching parts of the video, one can really get a sense of how slender this new phone is, especially when Buhnici holds up the iPhone 12 mini next to the iPhone 12. mini and its 5.4-inch display, next to the 6.1-inch iPhone 12, look downright lilliputian looking.

And it may seem obvious, given the vastly different dimensions of the two phones: the iPhone 12 mini measures 5.18 x 2.53 x 0.29 inches, while the iPhone 12 measures 5.78 x 2.82 x 0.29 inches, making the latter device taller and wider, which is not surprising. Still, it is one thing to see the numbers on the page and another to see the size difference for oneself.

Apple has managed to squeeze more phone into a smaller space by shrinking the bezel of the iPhone 12 model, even compared to last year's iPhone 11 model. iPhone 12 mini is very compact, in fact, 5.5 x 2.7 x 0.3 inches Despite the iPhone SE's 4.7-inch screen (albeit with fairly chunky bezels at the top and bottom),

iPhone 12 mini pre-orders will begin on November 6, one week before the $699 phone goes on sale. Despite its smaller size, the iPhone 12 mini shares many similarities with the iPhone 12, including the dual rear cameras, OLED screen, and 5G connectivity. Other than screen size, the biggest differences between the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini are battery size and price.
