Usually, Samsung launches the Galaxy S series at the end of February, but there are many rumors suggesting that this will not be the case.

There are rumors that Samsung is preparing for an early launch of the Galaxy S21 series, possibly in January, and new evidence seems to support that idea.

Roland Quandt of WinFuture tweeted that Samsung is starting partial production of the Galaxy S21 Ultra right now. Unfortunately, it is not clear if this is the start of mass production or if Samsung is still sampling prototypes prior to the final launch.

If this is the start of mass production, then Samsung is almost two months ahead of its normal schedule. If this is the start of mass production, then Samsung is nearly two months ahead of its normal schedule.

It is also possible that Samsung may have accelerated to avoid COVID-related delays in the supply chain. Nevertheless, past reports suggest that Samsung is hoping to fill the gap left by Huawei in the absence of Google.

The only question is when the Galaxy S21 will launch. The consensus is that it will be released in January, but there are rumors that it could be as early as December of this year.

So far, much is still unknown about the S21 series. Rendered images show off a standard model with a triple-lens camera and a 6.2-inch display on 2.5D glass. The S21 Ultra, on the other hand, is said to feature a 6.8-inch display, a 40MP front camera, a 5,000mAh battery, and five camera sensors on the back, including two telephoto lenses (3x and 10x) and a 108MP main lens.

Both are rumored to feature a 120Hz refresh rate and will launch alongside new Galaxy Buds dubbed "Buds Beyond."

We will report on the Samsung Galaxy S21 as information becomes available.
