The Samsung Galaxy S21 has already seen some solid leaks about its specs. Now, new claims seem to reveal cheaper versions of both the S21 and Samsung's flagship foldable.

Leaker Max Weinbach took to Twitter to list Samsung's flagship models for 2021. Many of the names are surprising, but the most interesting on the list are the S21 FE and the Z Fold FE.

After announcing the Galaxy S20 FE a few months ago, we expected Samsung to release more FE models and heard rumors of a phone that we believe will be called the Galaxy Fold Lite in the summer. So far we only know the name, but it will be interesting to see which model will be released.

Most of the other models Weinbach lists for next year we could easily guess ourselves. There are three Galaxy S21 models: the regular Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra, along with the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus, and Galaxy S20 Ultra. It is also interesting to note that there is no mention of a successor to the Galaxy Note 20 in this list. We had already seen leaks that the Galaxy S21 Ultra was stylus compatible and suspected that the Galaxy Note line was under threat. Combined with comments from Samsung's supply chain that there is no news about the Note 21, it appears that the Galaxy Note is about to disappear.

After a rough start in 2019 with the mechanically unreliable Galaxy Fold, Samsung has established foldable phones as legitimate, albeit expensive, consumer devices; since the Note 21 doesn't appear to be coming, two halves of Samsung's flagship device, slate and foldable body types, rather than the usual slate-style phone and stylus-attached phone.

In a subsequent tweet, Weinbach mentions that three of the devices he listed will support the S Pen. Assuming the earlier leak is correct and one of them is the Galaxy S21 Ultra, the guess is that the Z Fold 3 is the second and the third will likely be the Z Fold FE. Styluses are only as good as the large display, and the Z Fold series does exactly that in a foldable chassis.

All of these new Samsung models are slated to arrive in 2021; the S21 series is expected to appear in January of this year, rather than the usual February release. Based on last year's example, the Galaxy Z Flip 2 will also debut at this event; the Z Fold 3, Z Fold FE, and S21 FE may appear around September, when the latest Galaxy Note models usually appear.
