Sony announces the release date of the new PS2021 game during CES5 - When It Will come

Details of Sony's PS5 plans were revealed at CES 2021. During a press conference at the virtual technology event, Sony did a segment on the new gaming console.

And along with the PS5 topic, a sizzle reel of games we can expect in 2021 was shown.

We already know that first-party exclusives like "Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart" and "Horizon Forbidden West" will be available during 2021 we already know, but there will surely be more. The last slide also lists other games scheduled for release, including "Kena: Bridge of Spirits" in March, "Little Devil Inside" in June, "Solar Ash" in July, and "Ghostwire Tokyo" and "Stray" in October 2021

Sony's Jim Ryan, head of Sony Interactive Entertainment, also took a small jab at Microsoft and its recent aggressive round of multi-billion dollar studio acquisitions.

"At PlayStation, we believe storytelling is part of our DNA. Through years of organic growth and selective acquisitions, we will continue to deliver great quality games through our PlayStation studios."

The trailer also showed off Finnish developer Mousemarque's Returnal and Capcom's Pragmata.

Game development is not an exact science, so it is possible that these games could shift from their proposed release dates. Still, 2021 has already proven to be a great year for gaming.

Among the upcoming games are Hitman 3 on January 20, Yakuza: Like a Dragon on March 2, and It Takes Two on March 26. The game lineup is so strong that we feel the PS5 will dominate 2021.
