Asus ROG Phone4leak Teases a stunning New look for mobile gamers

The ROG Phone is currently in its third iteration as a smartphone built with gamers in mind; each time the Asus-produced smartphone has featured a tough chassis, full features, long battery life, and excellent gaming performance However, the follow-up to last year's ROG Phone 3 may feature an entirely new look

As spotted by GizChina, new leaked information about the ROG Phone 4 has appeared on the Chinese social networking platform Weibo The leaked information is expected to show a completely bezel-less display, with the entire front covered in glass

The teaser image in the Weibo post shows an edge-to-edge display that appears to be narrow-jawed; since the ROG Phone 3 will launch with a 144Hz refresh rate, perhaps this larger display will be available on the new ROG Phone with this faster refresh rate, perhaps this larger display will offer a refresh rate that matches or exceeds this faster refresh rate on the new ROG Phone

Images of what appears to be the front of the alleged phone show images of constellations and galaxies emblazoned across the shape of the phone However, nothing has been determined at this time If the ROG Phone 4 does adopt this all-glass screen, it will be quite an attractive phone, as long as it functions well

While the Weibo post reveals little about the upcoming phone, we do know a little about what's under the hood It will likely run on Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon system-on-chip, the Snapdragon 888 These specs come from a benchmark that hit GeekBench in December, which also suggests that it could have 8GB of RAM and Android 11 Given that the Galaxy S21 with the Snapdragon 888 is currently available for pre-order, 2021 year, other top-tier Android phones are expected to follow suit

No word yet on when the ROG Phone 4 will arrive, but rumors suggest that it will likely hit store shelves much sooner than the ROG Phone 3 did last year, especially given that ROG is still silent on its next move and has only just pushed the phone to market in late 2020 given that

Right now, the ASUS ROG Phone 3 is a fine candidate if you want to try out a phone designed specifically for gamers While users looking for a regular phone to text and call would be better off looking elsewhere, hardcore gamers will want to drop the cash on this model will have a coveted new flagship in the future
