The new Mac mini M1 is the perfect Mac for cash-strapped Apple fans. Even more so now that it's on sale.

Amazon is offering the Mac mini M1 for $649 for a limited time. That's a $50 discount and the lowest price we've seen this month for a new Apple Mac. It is also just $10 away from the lowest Cyber Monday price ever. (B&H Photo has the same price.)

In our review of the Mac mini M1, we marveled at the machine's design and powerful performance; the base version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD storage is the least expensive model and one of the best Macs you can buy today.

In informal testing, we ran over a dozen Safari tabs while watching 4K videos on YouTube with no noticeable performance degradation; even while writing the review with over 30 tabs open, the Mac mini never faltered.

Of course, these aren't the only deals available right now; if Mac laptops are your thing, there are plenty of MacBook deals as well. But for Mac fans on a tight budget, this is a great opportunity.
