There is no doubt that Cyberpunk 2077 is a sex-filled adult game. So it was only a matter of time before CD Projekt Red tweaked the game so that you could have virtual sex with Keanu Reeves' Johnny Silverhand.

After the success of the John Wick movie, it was understandable that people would lust after Reeves. But CDPR doesn't want you or them to have horny fantasies based on Reeves deep inside an epic RPG.

Even though Cyberpunk 2077 allows players to have sex from Silver Hand's perspective, CDPR does not allow players to essentially reverse the scene.

So the developers were outraged by a mod that replaced the "joy toy" sex worker with a silver-hand model that the player could have sex with. Even though the character model remained clothed during the act of virtual sex and used a genuine joy toy voice, the mod allowed the player to essentially have sex with a digital Keanu Reeves.

Of course, Johnny is not the only character who has been modded in these scenes, but CDPR's problem here boils down to the fact that Johnny's character model is based on a real person. CDPR allows mods, and recently released an official mod tool and has even released an official mod tool, but this is a step too far.

The developer told sibling site PC Gamer, "We ask that you refrain from using models of real people who have been asked to participate in the game in situations that might be considered offensive, unless you have their explicit permission.

This is a reasonable request. Keanu Reeves may have been in the game, but if he did not give explicit permission to be the subject of a sex scene, he has the right not to do so. This is not the same as replacing a character model that was not intentionally designed to look like a real person.

Cyberpunk 2077 has no shortage of celebrity cameos, but most of them, mod or not, don't seem to be in-game sweethearts; speaking to Eurogamer, mod creator Catmino said the technical challenges of this process include the fact that the in-game The mod creator said that it is not possible to replace a character who appears only for a brief moment in the game. Therefore, you will never meet someone like Hideo Kojima, who appears only briefly in "Cyberpunk 2077."

He also made it clear that if Keanu Reeves or CDPR objected to the mod, he would remove it from the Nexus Mods repository; in light of CDPR's statement to PC Gamer, it appears that Catmino has removed it. Nevertheless, he stated that someone else would eventually manage it, so perhaps this is not the last we will see of the sexy Keanu.
