According to WCCFtech, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 could be available on February 25 and is already available early in Europe.

When Nvidia announced the GeForce RTX 3060, it said the new $329 product would be available in February, but did not give an official date; Nvidia has not yet officially revealed a release date, but it appears the RTX 3060 could be available within a few weeks.

While the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 and GeForce RTX 3090 have dominated headlines for their immense power and nearly impossible to find in stock, the GeForce RTX 3060 is a more modest graphics card. The card is aimed at mainstream PC gamers looking for a powerful PC that can run games at high frame rates at 1080p resolution or achieve 60 frames per second at the increasingly popular 1440p resolution. [Spec-wise, it is clearly not competitive with the RTX 3080 ($699) or RTX 3090 ($1499), but it is still quite impressive considering it comes at a lower price point than its direct predecessor, the RTX 2060. [With 3,584 CUDA cores, 12GB of GDDR6 video memory, a boost clock speed of 1.78GHz, and a 192-bit memory interface, expect 2x raster performance and 10x ray tracing performance when upgrading from the GeForce GTX 1060 can expect 2x the raster performance and 10x the ray tracing performance.

Curiously, this graphics card is already available in some parts of the world, so it looks like we won't have to wait long for hands-on impressions.

A Reddit user named he_never_sleeps managed to pick up a Gigabyte RTX 3060 straight off the shelf in an unnamed European country, even though the card has not been officially released.

Since the GPU is not technically released yet, this Redditor had limited success in getting the card to work, thanks to the lack of available drivers. However, it is clear that Nvidia is preparing to release the RTX 3060 fairly soon.

Another Reddit user claims that a store in his country, supposedly in Pakistan, has several Palit RTX 3060 graphics cards in stock and is selling them for $750. This is more than double the recommended retail price of the GPU.

Adding fuel to the fire, Zah Computers, an official Nvidia distributor, has released a product page for the GeForce RTX 3060.

The dreaded words on everyone's lips, however, would be "stock shortage," and it remains to be seen how well Nvidia will be able to meet demand for the RTX 3060. But seeing as the rollout of the RTX 3080 was disastrous, we are preparing for the worst.

With news this week that the availability of the RTX 30 series may worsen through the first quarter of this year, the RTX 3060 may soon become a scarce gaming product in availability as well.
