Hello Strands fans! Happy New Year! Today's theme, “What a workout,” isn't too hard to decipher, although it's unlikely to get too many people going to the gym on the first day of 2025.
I quickly found the spangram, and the “X” on the right side of the board led directly to EXERCISE spelled backwards.
I was at a bit of a disadvantage here, as my gym sessions usually involve an exercise bike or elliptical trainer rather than weights, but I still managed to find three non-cardio activities. I found LUNGE just below Spangram and CRUNCH in the lower left corner.
Next I found SQUAT in the upper right corner, but was at a loss as to where to go next, so I used the hint to find PLANK along the bottom of the grid. It led me to the SITUP to the right of it.
There were two left in the top half of the board, and I found the first BURPEE in the middle. To complete this puzzle, the ADELDITF must be rearranged to DEADLIFT.
