Looking for something good to do after the holidays, the new programming lineup for Apple TV Plus in January 2025 includes the return of three major series and the premiere of a fourth.

After three long years, “Severance” finally returns for a second season. After the cliffhanger ending of season one, we were eager to see what happened to Mark and crew. Prime Target” is shaping up to be a spine-tingling conspiracy thriller. And geeks will have their funny bone tickled by the fourth season of “Mythic Quest.” Check out our guide to new Apple TV Plus shows this January.

“Severance” follows Mark Scout (Adam Scott), who manages a department at Lumon Industries. There, employees undergo a surgical procedure called “amputation” to separate their personal memories from their workplace memories. As a result, each person has two distinct personalities. One is “Inny,” who only remembers things at the office, and the other is “Outny,” who is indifferent to work-related matters. In the first season, Mark and his co-workers, the Inneys, discover more and more strange facts about Lumon and eventually cross the disconnect and interact with the outside world. Season 2 will show the full story of their actions and Lumon's true motives.

Premieres January 17 on Apple TV Plus

In this British conspiracy thriller, a graduate student named Edward Brooks (Leo Woodall) is working on a breakthrough discovery that will revolutionize mathematical theory. He was trying to find a pattern of prime numbers that would allow him to crack any computer security algorithm. But he soon realizes that someone is trying to destroy his research from the shadows. Throughout the season, Brooks must unravel the conspiracy against him and find out who is behind it.

Premieres January 22 on Apple TV Plus

Based on the best-selling picture book series “The Owl Diary,” “Eva the Owl” centers on a little owl learning about the world around her. Each night, Eva discovers something new about life and reflects on her journey by writing in her diary. In the process, Eva makes friends and tries to help those she meets. In Season 2, there are even more adventures with Eva, and the eye-popping paper crafting art style that parents love so much is still alive and well.

Premieres January 24 on Apple TV Plus

“Mythic Quest” brings together a team of dysfunctional game developers to create a popular MMORPG. In Season 4, two characters return to the studio to deal with the major problems facing the game. Players are leaving in droves, and a major movie deal has fallen through. Therefore, if things go badly, the next expansion may be the last for this game.
