Brooklyn Bedding, a premier sleep brand, has launched a copper-flex mattress suite. The new Copperflex mattresses are available at Brooklyn Bedding starting at just $325.50.
Many of the best mattresses in 2024 have strong cooling properties. However, Brooklyn Bedding is taking cooling capabilities a step further with its CopperFlex collection of four new products: the 12-inch CopperFlex is available in hybrid and all-foam models, and the 14-inch CopperFlex Pro has both models are available.
Announced ahead of the upcoming Black Friday mattress sale, Brooklyn Bedding is starting off the savings with an immediate 30% off CopperFlex mattresses, whether you choose the Pro model, memory foam, or hybrid.
Brooklyn Bedding's new mattresses feature copper-infused foam for advanced cooling and improved sleep hygiene. Once a waste product that could be sent to the landfill, copper is increasingly being used in top cooling mattresses because of its antimicrobial and cooling properties.
The CopperFlex line has replaced Brooklyn Bedding's DreamFoam Essential as the brand's most affordable mattress model. In other words, both the CopperFlex and CopperFlex Pro are a bargain, even before discounts are applied. MSRPs for the Copperflex and Copperflex Pro are as follows.
Brooklyn Bedding typically offers discounts of around 25% throughout the year.
The CopperFlex memory foam mattress currently costs $465.50 for a queen size, which is in line with the best inexpensive mattresses this year, where you will pay less than $500 for a queen size. However, as we found in our review of Brooklyn Bedding's DreamFoam Essential mattress, even at the lowest price on the mattress market, Brooklyn Bedding has not sacrificed quality.
So how does the brand manage to offer high-performance mattresses at such a low price? Scott Paladini, head of brand for Brooklyn Bedding, explains that it is because they own and operate their own facilities. This management structure allows the company to produce materials in-house and eliminate third-party suppliers, thus reducing production costs and, consequently, the price attached to a Brooklyn Bedding mattress.
As expected, due to the zoned support and improved stability, the hybrid construction is slightly more expensive than the all-foam construction, costing an additional $186.90 for the CopperFlex and CopperFlex Pro queen sizes.
Brooklyn Bedding also spares no expense on perks: a 10-year warranty, a 120-night sleep trial, and free shipping.
A standout feature of Brooklyn Bedding's new mattress lineup is CopperFlex memory foam, which combines sleep and science. This foam has copper particles kneaded into it that wick away moisture and regulate temperature while you sleep. In addition, copper's natural antimicrobial properties promote a healthier, cleaner sleeping space and improve sleep quality.
The 12” high CopperFlex mattress is Brooklyn Bedding's most affordable new product. Both the memory foam and hybrid models have six layers. Memory foam mattresses have six layers of foam, including copper-infused memory foam to prevent night sweats and high-density foam for added support. In the hybrid model, on the other hand, the transition foam layer is replaced by an ascension coil layer that provides motion isolation and edge support.
The standard CopperFlex has a height of 2 inches, while the CopperFlex Pro mattress has 7 layers and a height of 14 inches. Memory foam models are firmer in the medium firmness range. The mattresses are rated 7 out of 10 for firmness. In other words, it is ideal for back sleepers, light belly sleepers, and heavy side sleepers who prefer a slightly firmer sleeping surface with adequate support and minimal sinkage.
The Copperflex Pro Hybrid, on the other hand, offers the best support and temperature regulation of all the mattresses in the collection; it is the only model with a GlacioTex cooling cover, and is the only one with a cool, cool sleeping features. Thus, for a year-round hot sleeper, it pays a premium to pay more for the Pro Hybrid.
