Samsung's Galaxy S25 Ultra, which will be released next year, will be a powerful smartphone thanks to Qualcomm's recently announced Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
And thanks to the latest benchmark leaks, we can see just how powerful this smartphone is.
The leak was shared on X by regular leaker Jukanlosreve. They posted a screenshot of Geekbench results that they claim is the US version of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The screenshot reveals that the phone has at least 12GB of RAM and natively runs Android 15 (via One UI)
As for scores, the leak shows impressive single-core results of 3,148 and multi-core of 10,236 with scores. These big numbers blow away Samsung's Galaxy S24 Ultra while outperforming Apple's iPhone 16 Pro Max and its A18 Pro chipset.
The iPhone 16 Pro Max is an excellent phone and significantly outperformed the S24 Ultra in our comparison, but if these benchmarks are accurate, it could be a step behind Samsung's flagship. As always, the S25 Ultra's benchmarks should be taken with a grain of salt.
Normally, this is where one leaked benchmark would say that the S25 Ultra is only showing that it could be a powerful device. However, there have been several leaked benchmarks of next-generation phones that give us some scope for comparison.
One problem is that Geekbench results can be easily faked, and screenshots even more so.
A previously leaked benchmark purportedly from the S25 Ultra showed a single-core score as low as 3,011 and a multi-core score as low as 9,706. This can be compared to another benchmark leak that showed a single-core score of 3,236 and a multi-core score of 10,0049. However, this score appears to have been tested on the OnePlus 13, which was recently launched in China.
The OnePlus 13 is certain to have much more RAM and a significantly larger battery than the S25 Ultra, and performance and scores could change. We won't officially know how it will perform until the Chinese flagship phone launches globally next year.
In January 2025, when Samsung is expected to release the S25 Ultra, we are confident that we will put this flagship phone through our battery tests to see how it stands up against the latest iPhone and these leaked information We are confident that we will be able to provide you with the best possible results.
