ChatGPT can do incredible things ChatGPT search is replacing Google for some people, and its image creation capabilities are better than ever. the OpenAI tool is now being touted as the new viral prompt, with users asking ChatGPT to paint a picture of what their life might look like based on what it knows about them.
When I saw that this craze started with an X post by Maxim Rivest, I wanted to try out what ChatGPT knows (or thinks it knows) about my life The more you use ChatGPT, the more it knows about you, the different results It may be. I am a casual user who uses it primarily to generate funny images and ask the occasional question.
The prompt I used (and the prompt most of the trend participants ask) is: “Based on what you know about me, please draw a picture of what you think my current life is like.
As you can see in the picture above, ChatGPT seems to be fixated on three things about me - I play golf a lot, I watch and play hockey, and I want to lose weight. The first two are 100% accurate, but while dropping 30 pounds is bearable, it is not something I am focused on (although ChatGPT may be telling me I should be).
ChatGPT explains the reason for this image in the caption: “It shows a comfortable yet focused environment that reminds you of your goals, whether they are weight loss, golf, or field hockey. Let me know if there's anything you'd like to see adjusted!”
I've asked ChatGPT to create gym workout plans for me in the past, so it makes sense that they think I'm obsessed with weight loss.
Being addicted to hockey and golf, I needed to think more about how ChatGPT knew I liked these sports. After reading my history, I realized that I had asked ChatGPT to convert my CSV field hockey schedule into a calendar file.
As for golf, I could not find anything that clearly stated that I play golf, but I did ask them to generate a huge number of golf-related images, which probably helped them figure out that I love golf. Here is one such image:
Ah. I don't know why the dog is teeing up an inch away from the hole, but it's cute, so I'll pass.
AI editor Ryan Morrison also tried the prompt, but AI seems to know more about him. Here's his image:
His image has much more to unpack than mine, but ChatGPT thinks he loves science, has kids and a dog, and a wife. He also loves England.
This is a fun trend, but ChatGPT reminds us that he is learning about you as he uses it.
