Hello Strands fans, I was a teen in the 90s and this was a dream topic for me!
Or it would have been, had I known right away what the subject was. But it was a little too vague for me and I had to use clues to reveal the BLUR.
I was a bit surprised by this. This is because I did not think BLUR was as big in the US as it is in my country. Nonetheless, I was naming bands from the 90s, finding NIRVANA just below BLUR and OASIS in the opposite corner.
Now I'm ready to tackle the spangram: NINETIESBANDS spelled top to bottom on the board; NINETIESBANDS spelled top to bottom on the board; NINETIESBANDS spelled top to bottom on the board; NINETIESBANDS spelled top to bottom on the board; NINETIESBANDS spelled top to bottom on the board. My attention was drawn to the PAVEMENT next to it.
The last one, I must admit, I had never heard of. Thankfully, all I had to do was decipher the anagram, which I eventually spelled SUBLIME, and I had a nice, nostalgic puzzle.
