Aiming to “celebrate timeless stories that remind us of the importance of family in any form,” the Family Film & TV Awards will feature a wide range of categories from the latest blockbusters to the classics of yesteryear, entertainment that has brought us together not only in the last year but throughout history The awards will be presented to.
This year's nominees include Ryan Reignolds, Timothée Chalamet, and Zendaya for Outstanding Actor in a Feature Film, while Iain Armitage will finally receive a flower for Outstanding Actor in a Television Series for his wonderfully sensitive performance of “Young Sheldon” Maybe. Awards will also be given to films old and new, with the Christmas classics “Elf” and “Mary Poppins” receiving nominations for Best Iconic Film, and the 2024 blockbusters “Ghostbusters”: Frozen Empire and Dune: Also, the 2024 megahit ” Ghostbusters: Empire of Fire” and ‘Dune: Part 2’ are expected to win Best Feature Film.
Also on the ballot are the Best Unscripted Programs in categories such as Best Competitive Series Television and Outstanding Reality Show, as well as the Best of the Best, with such classics of yesteryear as “Saved by the Bell,” “Happy Days,” and “Home Improvement” on the ballot. There will also be a celebration of family television programming, from iconic classic television series There is also a special Icon Award honoring Jerry Mathers, beloved for his role as Beaver Cleaver on “Leave it to Beaver.”

The 27th Annual Family Film and TV Awards will air on Saturday, November 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PD on CBS. It will also be streamed live on Paramount Plus for Showtime subscribers and on demand the following day for Paramount Plus Essential subscribers.
