In November 2024, Prime Video and Freevee will deliver tons of new shows and movies. These Amazon streaming services are always loaded with things to watch, and this month is no different.

But a few picks rise to the top: the 1999 cult classic “Crewel Intentions” is being revived as a TV series on Prime Video. And last month's “Citadel: Diana” series will get a sibling spin-off called “Citadel: Honey Bunny.”

And then there is “My Old Ass,” a remarkable movie coming to Prime Video this month. Starring Maisie Stella as an 18-year-old girl who is suddenly visited by her 39-year-old future “old ass” self, played by Aubrey Plaza. Already highly acclaimed, don't miss it.

When most people think of “Cruel Intentions,” they think of the cult classic starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe, Reese Witherspoon, and Selma Blair. And rightfully so. But there are two additional films in this franchise.

But now Prime Video is taking the premise of the original 1999 film and turning it into an ongoing series. This time around, the step-siblings are Caroline Melteuri (Sarah Catherine Hook) and Lucian Belmont (Zach Burgess), both students at a college in Washington, D.C., and at the top of the social scene in Greek life at school. Streaming on Prime Video beginning November 21

“My Old Ass” stars Maisie Stella as Elliot, who, on his 18th birthday, picks mushrooms in the woods with friends and meets his 39-year-old self (Aubrey Plaza) while tripping. The next morning, Elliott finds his older self saved on his cell phone as “My Old Ass,” and when he texts his older self asking for advice, he receives a shocking reply. What is not shocking. The decision has several unintended consequences.

I've been looking forward to this movie ever since the reviews started coming out and it's at the top of my list of movies to watch this month. Plus, it stars Aubrey Plaza.

Streaming on Prime Video starting November 7

Last year's Prime Video spy action series “The Citadel” already had a spin-off released last month. Titled “Citadel: Diana,” it is set in the year 2030 and stars Matilda De Angelis as Citadel agent Diana Cavalieri, an insider in the enemy spy agency Manticore.

This month, it is the turn of “The Citadel: Honey Bunny” to take the spotlight. The series stars Varun Dhawan as the Bollywood stuntman Bunny and Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the actress Honey. The actors are secretly agents of the Citadel and must protect their daughter Nadia (played as an adult by Priyanka Chopra in The Citadel) from assassins in this action-packed new show.
