“Cobra Society” Season 6 is now streaming on Netflix and making a bit of history. While recent seasons of popular titles such as “Bridgerton” Season 3, “Emily in Paris” Season 4, and “The Outer Banks” Season 4 were all released in two parts, the sixth and final installment of the “Karate Kid” spin-off series is Netflix's first three-part This will be the first three-part release on Netflix.

The first five episodes of the season will be released in July, the second on Thursday, November 15, and the third and final installment in 2025.

For “Cobra Kai” fans, this means there is still plenty of dojo goodness to come, although they will have to wait a little longer for the final showdown with Daniel Larusso (Ralph Macchio), Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), and the rest of the Miyagi Road crew. Season 6 has 15 episodes; the previous five seasons had 10 episodes each.

The three-part format also adds a grandeur to the finale of the long-running martial arts drama, and Zabka compares the trilogy's release to a movie trilogy.

“The stakes are set at the end of the first five. If this were just a movie, it would be a great ending that would beg for a sequel.

As viewers already know, at the end of the fifth episode, Miyagi-Do's sensei and his students headed to Barcelona for the “World Championships,” a world karate tournament. and co-creator Hayden Schlossberg told Tudam.

Schlossberg added that Sekai Taikai will be a “completely different environment” than previous competitions like All Valley: “You won't see spectators. It's like a karate temple, where only black belts or karate masters are allowed."

Schlossberg added that ”the setting will be a place where people will be able to practice their karate and learn from each other.

As part of that change in setting, the second part of the final season will feature Louis Tan (“Deadpool vs. Wolverine,” “Mortal Kombat”) as Sensei Wolf, Patrick Lewis as Awel Kovacevic, and Raina Varandingham as Zara Malik (actress debut) and other new karate competitors will be introduced to fans. They include familiar faces such as Sensei John Cleese (Martin Cove) and Chozen Toguchi (Yuji Okumoto), as well as Miguel Diaz (Zorro Maridueña), Tory Nichols (Peyton List), Robbie Keane (Tanner Buchanan), Sam Larusso (Mary Mauser) along with other young dojo students.
