November 2024 is an unusually quiet time for new video games, but that doesn't mean it's any less thrilling: there are still strong games coming out on PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC. From fun theme park simulations to post-apocalyptic first-person shooters, this month's lineup has something for everyone.
One of the featured titles is Planet Coaster 2. This long-awaited sequel looks incredibly fun (because who wouldn't want to build a theme park?). There is also a new installment in Nintendo's “Mario & Luigi RPG” series, which allows the iconic siblings to explore a vast array of islands. Of course, we can't forget that “Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024” will be available on Xbox and PC. This upgraded version will be perfect for those who love the legendary aviation simulator.
If you're looking for a new gaming experience this November, we've compiled a list of the five biggest games released this month that you shouldn't miss.

“Planet Coaster 2” is Frontier Developments' upgraded theme park simulation game following the success of its predecessor, which was released in 2016. In this sequel, players design and manage an elaborate theme park with enhanced tools for building rides, creating intricate paths, and setting up unique Viking, aquatic, and mythological-themed environments. A new centerpiece feature is the introduction of water park attractions, where players can add pools and waterslides and manage guest amenities such as shade, lifeguards, and changing rooms to enhance visitor satisfaction.
The game also introduces a collaborative sandbox mode that allows for cross-platform cooperative building where players can collaboratively create and share parks. Additional modes, such as the franchise mode, allow players to compete on leaderboards and share custom designs through the Frontier Workshop. For an additional $20, the Deluxe Edition adds ride packs for a more diverse park experience.
Platform Nintendo Switch
“Mario & Luigi: The Brothers Ship” is the latest installment in Nintendo's popular Mario & Luigi RPG series. Finding new friends like the quirky characters Connie and Snoutlet and reconnecting with series regulars like Princess Peach and Bowser are central to the plot, and they may help in unexpected ways.
True to the series, the Brothership emphasizes the bond between Mario and Luigi, using the Bros technique to avoid obstacles and using Bros attacks in combat. Combining nostalgia with modern mechanics, this title will appeal to old fans as well as newcomers. Of course, it is exclusive to the Nintendo Switch.
