There are some big changes coming to Google Photos, including a new UI and new features.
Google Photos has undergone major changes in recent months, allowing users to ask Gemini AI about their photos, and a recent APK released by Android Authority with the help of Assemble Debug reveals a revamped video player is on the horizon, including a sleek new look and redesigned controls. The recent APK released by Android Authority with the help of Assemble Debug reveals that a video player revamp is imminent, including a sleek new look and redesigned controls.
First, there is a new look for the Google Photos video player, which appears much more polished than before. This new look includes new placement of the pause, volume, and loop buttons. In the current application, the pause button appears at the top of the screen and the volume buttons are next to the seek bar. In the new UI, however, all buttons are placed at the bottom of the screen and a new stylish dot-based seek bar with tactile feedback has been added. Google also added the ability to skip or rewind videos by five seconds.
These changes are likely to come at some point in the future, when Android Authority can be made to work with version 7.4. However, it appears that the new UI and look are not the only changes coming to Google Photos, as some changes are coming to the popular “Memories” feature. according to Android Authority, Google is aiming to rename the “Memories” feature to something called “Timeline”
“Timeline.
It is not certain what the timeline feature will actually encompass, but it will likely be a new way to showcase old photos. On the plus side, it appears that the “Memories” feature is not actually going away, but can instead be found on the “Collections” tab, which is Great news. Needless to say, Google will give you more control over who appears in your memories.
These changes may not be seen for a while, but they are certainly impressive enough and show Google's willingness to constantly improve its services. there is no doubt that Google Photos will remain one of the best ways to view and share images on the best Android phones and there is no doubt that it will continue to be.
