Osgood Perkins' psycho-horror thriller “Long Legs” was released earlier this year to much fanfare
The film reportedly had a budget of less than $10 million, but has grossed just under $100 million since its release on Friday, July 12 It has also become one of the most talked about films of the summer, thanks in part to a viral marketing campaign with an obscure trailer that did not reveal Nick Cage's terrifying transformation
Critically, the disturbing film has also been well received, with Rotten Tomatoes currently giving it an 86% approval rating (based on just under 300 reviews), with many reviews praising it as a genuinely disturbing film
The only way to see what's inside “Long Legs” was to visit a local movie theater, but that's likely to change now that a premium video-on-demand (PVOD) release date has been set

According to When to Stream, “Longlegs” will debut on these services on Friday, August 23 The film is indeed available for pre-order at these locations - here is a link to Prime Video's “Longlegs” as proof - but the storefront has not confirmed a release date for the film
Several years ago, Neon, the distributor of “Longlegs,” and Hulu signed a multi-year licensing deal (according to Deadline) that confirmed that Neon's future films would be released on Hulu first and foremost And since neither Hulu nor Neon has yet confirmed a streaming date for “Longlegs,” one can only guess when the Nicolas Cage film will be available
The best way to do so is to look back at the time it took for Neon's recent releases to arrive on Hulu For example, the controversial Sidney Sweeney horror film Immaculate arrived on Hulu on August 16, 148 days after its March 22 theatrical release
Meanwhile, the Michael Mann biopic “Ferrari” waited 152 days to be streamed, and the comedy-drama “La Chimera” starring Josh O'Connor was delivered just recently (August 14) after a 139-day wait
