Hello Strands fans! This was a difficult piece for me Not only was it hard to understand the theme, but even once I did, many of the answers were American in a way that I, as a Brit, would not have thought of

Initially, I assumed that “Get out of here” was referring to a way of saying goodbye or a common breakup phrase In fact, I thought the “X” would be part of “exit”

After failing to find this front word, I had to use not one but two clues, the first being “FOAM” and the second “TAPE” Then I realized that this was about removals, and the puzzle was successfully solved

Well, that's about it; TRUCK, BOXES, CRATE, and the MOVINGDAY spangram were immediately obvious, but the other answers were either words we don't use on this side of the Atlantic or did not apply to the many house moves I have made over the years

In short, finding DOLLY, STRAP, and BUNGEE was a frustrating game of trial and error Fortunately, however, each was in a different corner, making the exercise simpler than if they had been intertwined with each other

Still, tomorrow, a simple puzzle, please
