Another day, another Netflix cancellation Just days after one of the best streaming services, Netflix, announced the return of the second season of its latest hit, the romantic comedy “Nobody Wants This,” another Netflix show will not air until season 3
Yes, in case you didn't already know, Rob Lowe's comedy show “Unstable” is the latest series to be put on hold by Netflix The news, reported by Deadline, came not long after Netflix canceled the mythology series “Kaos” after one season, angering subscribers
Why was “Unstable” cancelled? Well, “Unstable” Season 2 apparently failed to find enough viewers when it arrived on Netflix on August 1, 2024; as Deadline points out, the series failed to even make Netflix's top 10 shows list, with the platform and received less than 13 million views in its first week on the platform
“Unstable” is a Netflix comedy series co-created by Rob Lowe, his son John Owen Lowe, and Victor Fresco
The father-son show follows Jackson (John Owen Lowe), an introverted young man who begins working for his successful and publicly admired biotech entrepreneur father, Ellis Dragon (Rob Lowe), and tries to stop him from running off after the death of his wife
In Season 2, as they begin to reconnect, Jackson takes on a series of difficult challenges as Ellis tries to determine Jackson's qualifications as his successor
Briefly Perhaps? Sources told Deadline that the producers of “Unstable” have already started shopping around for a new home for the show
