So what is the answer for today's connection for game #457?

Drum roll, please

Today's puzzle is followed by a strange run of the exact same difficulty grid

Today's puzzle kicked off with the transfer of the green categories deliver, give, hand and pass I got the variety and the next yellow, so it's a bit of a coin flip between it and the yellow: type, type, stripe, type I first saw green, but you might see yellow

From there, I was a little puzzled until I read a-F as a to F, unleashing my school memories In addition, I have a child at school who at his age still gets a star on homework Proportions and thumbs picked up quickly from there

Purple was the last filled one in the NHL with checkers, a deck of cards, a monarchy, as one with a king It's a fun category You always want to catch something that you have fun with fast

Are you reading this in a later time zone? According to Connections Companion, game #456 had a difficulty rating of 33 out of 5

Despite being rated the same difficulty as yesterday's puzzle, today's answer looked extra tricky I burned a good few guesses trying to connect the full house and Flash as something related to the card

I snagged the green category after it became clear that it wasn't At first I thought that non-stop and straight had something to do with the type of flight, but when I looked at straight and continuous, the connection became clear

After it was blue, it was an easy one considering that I'm no stranger to appetizer platters and drink flights Sampler and tasting was not too hard to find once I connected them two

I was able to fumble through both the hardest and easiest categories in today's puzzle and it gave me a laugh It didn't help my chances because I've never heard of a sitcom coach or Blossom In retrospect, I should have probably been able to find the yellow category (blush, burn, flash and shine), but I guess I've never quite swung a suspicion that poker was involved in any way This time the Connections crew took me on board
