Zoë Kravitz makes her directorial debut with the much-discussed what-if psycho-thriller It's a solid first effort from the American actress, and despite the familiar notes of the genre, the strong performances from the leads (Naomi Ackie and Channing Tatum) keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end The dramatic ending misses the mark, but the first act, which foreshadows that something is wrong, is particularly powerful

Hulu is adding this Norwegian horror-mystery film this week, and it looks to be a sleeper hit indeed: “Handling the Undead,” which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January, was then received a fairly high score With a 75% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, critics praised the film for its poignant tone and down-to-earth story, suggesting that it is at least worth adding to your watch list, but the slow pacing proved to be controversial

I've been waiting months for “Three Daughters” to be available on Netflix I loved this Azazel Jacobs drama so much that I didn't even watch a moment of footage I was so excited because it brings together what I consider to be three of the strongest actresses working in Hollywood today, Carrie Coon, Natasha Lyonne, and Elizabeth Olsen And with the first trailer and early reviews (99% on Rotten Tomatoes), my hype level is even higher
As the name suggests, the film follows three estranged sisters (Coon, Lyonne, and Olsen) who reunite in New York to care for their sick father The siblings have very different personalities and deal with their father's illness in different ways As a result, past tensions resurface and light-hearted banter ensues Not only is this the best Netflix movie of the year, but I have a feeling it will be one of the best movies of 2024 Enjoy
