Hello Strands fans! For the sake of this writing, I had to dig deep into my long dormant knowledge of school language terminology
However, I actually had no idea what I was talking about in the first place, and regrettably had to use hints As a result, I found that it was about linguistic terms for writing VERSE, and METER (which I had completely overlooked in my tendency to look for British spellings!) (which was my next discovery)
I found RHYME to its right, followed by a POETRY spangram in the center of the board This coded SYNTAX nicely and completed the bottom half of the board
My eye was immediately drawn to a stray “Z” in the top half of the grid, which I was able to connect to the word STANZA This split the top half in two, leaving two anagrams to decipher: DICTION on the right and SCANSION on the left
