Here's a bigger hint: Think of a few nicknames of Star Wars characters before you think of them Add cat after some words before you find someone

So what is the answer to today's game #467 connection?

Drum roll please

Why they chose the second film in the Star Wars trilogy for this category is baffling to me But anyway, I saw Boba and Chewie right off the bat, and Solo Emperor Palpatine is too much for me Because in “The Empire Strikes Back,” at best Darth Vader calls me his mentor or just Emperor

From there I moved on to the yellow category, where I hooked up figure, imagine, suspicious, and think This is a fine category, but I felt like I had picked a word and opened a thesaurus

I took an early strike in putting together the green category, trying to shove suspects in with characters, individuals, and persons Until that strike, it never entered my mind that the parties were part of this group This is because, in my mind, party (even in the expression “party of one”) refers to a group, and the other words are singular

In my early days, I had cat, hawk, and litter, but I had completely forgotten about the “kitty” corner I grew up in the kitty corner After doing some research after the puzzle, I found out that kitty corners are popular in Canada and certain northern parts of the US I grew up in the Southwest and on the East Coast, so I seem to prefer Cathy Corner Regionalism is always interesting and I love learning new things

I am reading this late in the day According to Connections Companion, the difficulty level was 33 out of 5

I enjoyed today's puzzle

Today I solved the green categories of Birthday, Cocktail, Dinner, and Surprise Party first Birthday and Cocktails were the first two that stuck

I grew up on a mixture of Nickelodeon and PBS, so when I saw Masterpiece and Nova I immediately thought of public broadcasting So for me, it was early to close out the blue category with Frontline and Nature

I now had an idea of what the purple category was, but it didn't feel right with the remaining words So I chose the prefixes extra, hyper, over, and super

Purple is a French word for Angers (a city southwest of Paris, between Le Mans and Nantes The region is known for its Champagne, as well as for the drink made from the grape that gave it its name

Nice, pronounced like niece, is a lovely beach town on the Mediterranean Sea near the Italian border Recommended

Reunion caused the confusion I mentioned earlier because I had never heard of it It is because of colonialism Reunion is an island off the eastern coast of Africa, east of Madagascar, that has been settled by French subjects since the 17th century, but was reportedly uninhabited before the French arrived It is also technically part of the Eurozone and is maintained as a region of France

It really feels like a learning week
