Now, what's the answer to today's game #470 Connection?

Drum roll please

Today we cleared the yellow category first However, unlike the clues in the rest of the categories, today's yellow answers (Bumpy, Rough, Rugged, Uneven) were very easy

The remaining categories were packed with words that each had at least two meanings, so I stumbled over them several times Next up was Bed, Parcel, Patch, and Plot green, but by this point I had already struck out trying to connect Rocky & Scratchy to Patch

Next to that was the purple category The parallel was clearly off for me, and working backwards from there, I realized that along with South, Amusement, and National, I would all have to deal with park types

The last was the blue category with Chip, Rocky, Scratchy, and Stitch I was not a fan of “The Simpsons,” so I knew all but Scratchy

Are you reading this late in the day? According to Connections Companion, the difficulty level was 28 out of 5

Yesterday I started off strong by suddenly solving the blue category We first saw Drawing, along with clues that would lead through the yellow category (more on that later), which reminded me of a Photoshop setup But when I found Lotteries, Pools, and Raffles, I realized that the Connection Crew meant an entirely different kind of Drawing

Having already connected grayscale, neutrals, and pastels, I was well prepared to resolve the yellow category After a little searching around I found neons and realized they were all in the color palette

The green category seemed even easier than yesterday's yellow New, Open, Print, and Save, all options that I had used many times on my computer

As a result, the purple category remained yesterday's rote memorization, featuring Alloy, Scultpure, Suntan, Third, and a clever play on words regarding the various meanings of “bronze”
