Google Photos gets even easier to use - and why?

Google is working on introducing improved one-handed operation when using Google Photos

In a recent APK teardown, Android Authority discovered a new floating toolbar that appears in albums This new toolbar appears near the bottom of the screen and includes a new button to help organize albums with uploaded photos This toolbar appears at the bottom of the screen and disappears when scrolled, but is easily restored by simply scrolling up The bar never changes position, making it easier to access the Share and Add buttons with one hand

The changes found are not limited to the bar; it appears that Google has added a new edit button to the toolbar This new button allows users to reorganize the order of images, delete photos, rename albums, and add descriptions This is a big advantage over the current design, which hides editing options in the context menu

The new toolbar is currently not available in the latest version of Google Photos, but Android Authority has successfully made it work in Google Photos version 71 The new taskbar appears to be ready for release, but is not yet available to the public However, it is likely to appear soon, so we won't have to wait long It is worth noting, however, that the features found in the APK teardown are not necessarily distinct new features

This is not the only news regarding Google Photos in recent days A previous APK teardown revealed that Google plans to integrate more Gemini features into the app Mainly, it seems that we can expect Gemini to narrate some of our memories and make them more personal in the near future Another leaked information also revealed that Google plans to give us more control over how often we see certain people in our memories

The new changes are interesting and will certainly simplify the use of Google Photos As such, now is the perfect time to get the best camera phone to take advantage of these changes
