Recent leaks purportedly showing a dummy model of Samsung's next flagship have given us a glimpse of the Galaxy S25 Ultra's more detailed design, including rounded corners and a larger camera
Samsung's follow-up to the Galaxy S24 Ultra will likely debut early next year, and the leaks keep coming This latest information comes via Online Solitaire and confirms earlier reports that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature a redesigned chassis The image in question, shared in partnership with @xleaks7, shows off an aluminum dummy of the upcoming handset, and while there is no mistaking the design essence of the Galaxy, there are some notable changes
The model shows off the Galaxy S25 Ultra body and includes cutouts for the supposed primary, ultra-wide and periscope lenses alongside laser autofocus, LED flash and a 3x telephoto camera According to the report, the new model measures 641 x 305 x 032 inches; compared to the 640“ x 311” x 034” Galaxy S24 Ultra, the new model is slightly taller, narrower and thinner than its predecessor
One of the most significant changes is the new rounded corners, meaning Samsung has finally moved away from the sharp edges used on other models This will hopefully make the phone more comfortable in the hand and more similar in shape to the iPhone 16
The only downside to these dummy units is that they don't tell us much about how the phone will perform However, a recent Geekbench leak listed some of the obvious scores for Samsung's next phone and they could compete with the iPhone 16 Pro thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip According to the leak, Qualcomm has raised the price of its new Snapdragon chips
The S25 series is yet to be released, possibly at CES 2025 in January Until then, we will keep the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra hub updated and report news and rumors as we hear them
