With new changes in its latest update, Google is working to make sharing images with Google Gemini even easier
Google has made several improvements to Gemini in recent months, releasing Gemini Live for free to all users This trend continues, with the latest update making it easier to share images from other apps directly with AI This change is found in version Google Gemini v10668480831 and is available to all users by default as long as they upgrade to the latest version
The following video, courtesy of Android Authority, shows how this new feature works To send an image directly to Gemini, users simply press the Share button and a share sheet will appear at the bottom of the screen When this screen appears, a new Gemini icon is added and the image can be shared with the AI in the same way as when sending an image to a contact When the icon is clicked, the user is taken directly to the Gemini app, where they can ask questions
This is not the only way to present images to Google Gemini Users can also attach images to chats or use the “Ask a question about this screen” feature
There is no denying that Google is working to improve Gemini as much as possible For example, Gemini Live allows you to have an uninterrupted conversation with the AI, and my colleague Richard Priday found much to praise about this feature during his 24 hours with Gemini Live
